Description
As Gallery Director, my responsibilities include planning and installing exhibitions, organizing public programs, and managing marketing, fundraising, and memberships. The exhibitions I organize include regional and international artists and partnerships with local organizations and embassies. I reopened Hillyer after being closed for two years due to the pandemic.

Description
As Director of Education, I designed a new education department in preparation for the grand opening of the museum. I created seven full time positions, a new volunteer program, and a wide menu of school tours, outeach, public programs, and online courses. As Director of Education, I supervised all school and public programs, symposiums, community partnerships, volunteer educators, interns, and the acclaimed Duncanson Artist-in-Residence program. As Curator of Education K-12, I organized K-12 programs, volunteer training, teacher workshops, family programs, Saturday drawing classes, summer camps, and partnerships with university departments, school districts, and community centers.

Romare Bearden Fellow
In 2002, I was selected the Romare Bearden Fellow. I was museum teacher for Arts in the Basic Curriculum, outreach educator for Community Women Against Hardship and curatorial assistant in the Prints, Drawings, and Photographs Department. In addition, I taught summer camp, led public programs, and produced curriculum materials, including an independent project titled "Nature and Nation," after a permanent collection theme.

DESCRIPTION
I joined Community College Preparatory Academy in September 2020 as a blended learning facilitator. Using Google Classroom as the LMS, I taught IT Fundamentals to adults, in preparation for CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification FCO-U61. I also earned the CompTIA certification as a supplement to my course preparation and development.
